Revelation Chapter 19

The culmination of the Tribulation Period is about to end. And once again a worship service breaks out in heaven. It is interesting to think about the fact that the angels in heaven clearly understand that the judgements of God are true and just. They understand that the people on earth have rejected their Savior, they have rejected the one true God. They understand how patient and loving God has been to all people wanting all to come to repentance.

Let's Reflect

1. What is the first word of praise that is shouted out here in this passage and repeated several times?

2. With each section of praise, if you read the passage carefully, there is an idea that the praise is getting louder and louder. How does John describe the sounds of the praises being shouted out in verse 6?

3. This section starting with verse 6 is also known as the “Marriage Supper of the Lamb.” We know that the Lamb is Jesus Himself and He has invited His bride to a great banquet. Who is the bride? See verse 8

4. An angel tells John to write down this part about the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. John was probably so awe-struck by what he was seeing and hearing that he momentarily forgot to record what he saw. In this awesome worship service John is overtaken with emotion and he fell down at the feet of the angel to worship him. But what did the angel tell John? By the way, I love what the angel said to John! Don’t you?

5. In chapter 16 we left off with all the armies of the world gathering to fight at the battle of Armageddon. Who will they be fighting against? See verses 11-16.

6. When Jesus came to earth the first time He came as a little baby. This time when He comes, He will come as the great King of kings. And the victory will be His alone. Gathered to fight in this great battle is the beast (the anti-christ) and the kings of the earth with their armies. Who will be captured in this battle?

7. The two captured will be thrown alive into the lake of fire. And then what will happen to all the armies of the world gathered to fight?
